Growing Pains

Ok so not really growing pains, more like neck pains. I started sessioning again after a bit of a break and what do I get in return? A very very sore and hurtful neck. Funny thing is I didn’t even try any hard moves on Monday. Mainly did footwork and a BABY FREEZE and some elbow popups. I think the pop ups did the trick, no pun intended. Well yesterday was the worst, my neck was super stiff and I could’t even move it without writing in pain like a little baby. I’ve taken pain killers and used icy hot but nothing was working/ Finally after a good nights rest and a heat patch, courtesy of Sarah Cheerrio, my neck feels much better.

I still have some pains here and there but now it’s actually bareable. I went to the health center and they said I have a decent range of motion, which in comparison to yesterday I do. They told me to ice and heat it and to stop “breakdancing”. I always have to tell them “breakdancing” because the nurses and doctors NEVER know what breaking or bboying is. Of course they look at me funny like, “You breakdance?” And I look at them like, “No, I will not do any of the typical power moves that you only know of.” Well enough of my little rant of my problems and such. More money comes more problems, my questions is, “WHERE IS THE MORE MONEY!?”

Lessons Learned

Posting up those missing flyers takes alot more effort than I first thought. Some Lessons learned from today’s experience:
1. Staples are better than tape.
2. Tape does not work well on trees, signs/posts are much more effective for the adhesive
3. It takes alot more time than you would expect to post up all these flyers.
4. You walk around, ALOT. Luckily I had a scooter.
5. It take strategic planning to find the optimal placement of the flyers
6. People WILL look at you strangely
7. They probably assume that you are about as desperate as those crazy old cat ladies
8. I was and am NOT that desperate
9.Did I already mention that tape SUCKS!
10. Especially when it sticks to itself, you, or the wrong side of the paper.
